Windsor Castle State Apartments
* - This impressive royal castle was built, occupied and loved by the royal family for over 900 years. We visit the State Apartments. Highlights include the Waterloo Chamber, St. George's Hall and the Van Dyck room. We will also see paintings by Rubens, Rembrandt and Caneletto.

St George's Chapel

This splendid chapel, burial place of Henry VIII, Charles I and George VI is where the Knights of the Garter are still installed and stands within the castle precincts. The Knights' banners still hang over the carved choir stalls.

If the Chapel or State Apartments are closed, we will see Queen Mary's Dolls House - a perfect stately home in miniature.
*Viewing is restricted on Sundays.

Hampton Court Gardens

Departing Windsor we make our way to the magnificent Hampton Court via Runnymede, where King John met his barons in 1215 and agreed to seal the Magna Carta. We also see the memorial to John F Kennedy on an acre of land given to America by the people of Britain. The Hampton Court - a living tapestry of history through the ages. The formal gardens of Hampton Court reflect centuries of careful cultivation resulting in a symphony of regal splendour, symmetry and intricacy.
